The Penrose desk, created by Isao Hosoe with Lucia Fontana and Masaya Hashimoto, seems to stand on one point. Through the gluing of glass sheets, finely finished in the oblique cut of each corner, a magic is created: the glass becomes light and bends over itself remaining in perfect balance. Penrose is the aesthetic and functional metaphor of the challenge of man in wanting to overcome nature and its equilibrium through the use of glass. Structure in transparent or extra-clear glass with an asymmetric shape and oblique welding on the side.
