Design Daniel Libeskind
Gemma is an armchair with modern lines, three-dimensional geometry that contrasts with the softness of its padding. Its faceted profile evokes both a precious stone and the typical compositions of Italian tapestries of the fifteenth century. The collection is representative of the synergy between the complex geometries of Libeskind and the well-known know-how of Moroso.
Libeskind was deeply inspired by natural geological forms: crystals, gems, natural rock formations. For the Gemma di Moroso collection, the design incorporates the asymmetrical facets of gems and has a dual meaning: creating a sculpture for the home or office and reconnecting with Libeskind's work.
