Renzo Piano Building Workshop
The studio of architect Renzo Piano is one of the most important architecture studios in Italy and the world. Renzo Piano is considered one of the most internationally influential architects of the 20th and 21st centuries and winner of the Pritzker Price. Renzo Piano Building Workshop was founded in 1981 with a series of offices opened in Genoa, Paris and New York. Since its foundation, the RPBW studio has completed more than 130 projects in Europe, North America, Australia and Central Asia. These include world-famous works such as the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, The Shard Tower in London, Centro Botin de Arte y Cultura in Santander, and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, to name but a few. Many projects are still ongoing. It was in 2010 that RPBW became the first architecture studio by turnover in France and Italy.
Citterio – Viel & Partners
Citterio – Viel & Partners was born from the merger of two architecture and interior design companies, Citterio and Viel: it brings together over 130 professionals, coordinated by 8 partners who work alongside the co-founders. Among the best known projects, which have made it one of the most important architectural firms in Italy, are the San Babila redevelopment in Milan for Goldman Sachs, the Bulgari Hotel in Rome and the Sukhumvit Thirty-Eight in Bangkok.
Stefano Boeri Architetti
Stefano Boeri Architetti now has offices in Milan, Tirana and Shanghai. Among the studio’s best known works is undoubtedly the Bosco Verticale in Milan. This is a complex of two residential buildings located in Milan’s business centre characterised by the presence of over two thousand species of trees on the façade. A very ambitious metropolitan reforestation project this one signed by Studio Stefano Boeri Architetti, which aims to increase the city’s plant and animal biodiversity.

Archea Associati is an architecture studio founded in Florence in 1988 by Laura Andreini, Marco Casamonti and Giovanni Polazzi. Composed today of a team of more than 80 architects, operating in six different cities such as Florence, Milan, Rome, Beijing, Dubai and Sao Paulo, it is by right among the most important architectural firms in Italy and the world.
Archea Associati’s research activities range from landscape to the city, from building to design, from graphics to publishing. Some of the most important projects include the Antinori Winery near Florence, the World Ceramic Art City in China, Kiss Bridge in Vietnam. The CDD – Centre for the Disabled in Seregno in Italy, the Library in Nembro, The Veil in Kazakhstan.
Fuksas Architecture
Fuksas Architecture is the architecture studio founded in Rome by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas. It has received numerous international awards including the Vitruvio Internacional a la Trayectoria, the Grand Prix d’Architecture and the Honorary Fellowship of the American Institute of Architects. In 2009 Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas received the Gold Medal for Italian Architecture for the Zenith Music Hall in Strasbourg. And in 2010 they were awarded the Legion of Honour. Among their most famous projects are the Graffiti Museum in France, the new Milan Trade Fair and the New Convention Centre and Hotel at EUR better known as ‘La Nuvola’.

Mario Cucinella Architects was founded in Paris in 1992. Today it is also based in Bologna and consists of a team of architects and engineers from all over the world. Mario Cucinella Architects was founded by architect Mario Cucinella, a collaborator of the Renzo Piano studio, who has distinguished himself for his sustainable approach to design. An aspect that led him to win the MIPIM award in the green building category in 2009 and 2011. Thanks to his projects such as COIMA Headquaters, MET Tirana Building, One Airport Square, ARPAE Regional Agency for Prevention, Environment and Energy, Ekspozita Building and many others, completed or still in progress, Mario Cucinella Architects is one of Italy’s most important architectural firms.

Lombardini22 is an architecture and engineering firm founded in 2007 by six professionals from different backgrounds who share the same vision of work and the same values of customer care. The firm’s name simply corresponds to its address. Lombardini22 represents the desire to design together, under the banner of the relationship between individuals. Lombardini22 is a young and growing firm. Among the main works realised are Microsoft House, the renovation of Sarca 222 and the headquarters of Il Sole 24 Ore, in Milan.

Genius Loci Architettura is an architecture studio founded in 1997. It is now based in Milan and Florence and provides architecture, interior design and planning services in Italy and worldwide. Among its most well-known projects are the Gucci headquarters and the renovation of the Palazzo Generali in Florence.
