Ordinary or extraordinary maintenance?

All technical expenses incurred for the design can also be deducted.

Beware, however, of the amounts. In fact, it will be possible to deduct interventions up to a maximum amount of EUR 5,000.

Bonus garden 2022: expenses incurred

To be eligible for the bonus, the work in question must have been carried out between 01 January 2021 and 31 December 2021. All expenses must have been paid by traceable payment methods, such as bank transfer, cards or cheque.

Everything, in fact, must be documented, and each amount must be matched by the corresponding invoice, thus avoiding any problems.

Finally, it is important to remember that the expenses incurred for the purchase of the tools needed to carry out the work are not deductible with this type of bonus.

Other bonuses

In addition to the Green Bonus 2022, many other benefits are available, perfect for renovating or building your dream home.

These include the Furniture Bonus, or Large Household Appliances Bonus, extended for the duration of 2022. Thanks to the latter, in fact, you will be able to deduct as much as 50% of the total expenditure incurred. The amount will be recovered in equal amounts over ten years.

Like any allowance, these expenses will also have to be tracked by appropriate payments and invoices.

Advantages

Thanks to this bonus, it will be possible to aim for large energy savings. In fact, there are many class A, or higher, household appliances available today.

Furthermore, it is important to emphasise that, unlike the Garden Bonus, thanks to the Furniture Bonus, expenses of a maximum amount of 10 thousand euro can be deducted.

Conditions

In order to obtain the benefits regarding the furniture bonus, it will be necessary, in the case of the purchase of household appliances, to pay attention to the energy classes. These must be

• No lower than A for the purchase of ovens.
• Higher than E for washing machines, dishwashers and dryers.
• From F upwards for refrigerators.

In addition, any furniture purchased must be new, not used, and related to maintenance, renovation or refurbishment of the flat or building.
